The Arrow is obviously a quad only and in the most traditional sense. Not having to masquerade as a board for everyone with 5 fins, the arrow has the luxury of area forward – after all it is from the Twin Fin family where much of their drive is derived from the wider nose. Quads are known for their free speed ie. you need not turn yourself inside out to achieve it coz they simply just go fast regardless.

The rocker in this design is kept low simply because it is so loose anyway and what is wrong with even more speed. The bottom contour is a single concave through the guts morphing into a long deepish vee running right out the tail. This vee gives a normally clingy fin set up some freedom from rail to rail without any loss of speed.
All this speed comes at a price and that price is the sacrifice of spontaneous vert. The guy who is going to like this design is past that addiction anyway, and just wants to go fast, sit high in a barrel and make the un makable wave with flair.
